YVES CASS
Yves Cass was born on January 17, 1947 in Creil. He passes all his youth to Normandy, in Trouville s/m and obtains his baccalaureat series philosophy in 1967, with the college Malherbe de Deauville. He follows the courses of the higher school of journalism, street from Rennes in Paris, before following the occupation of journalist until 1975. He remains and works then in Africa during a few years. Yves Cass did not cease painting since his childhood and takes part in many exposures as a professional amateur then. Its dimension is referred by the international guide akoun, since 1996. Painter, sculptor and ceramist, Cass are also a copper plate engraver. It completes work on papers in “mixed techniques” where elements of its engravings are found in joinings near stamps and of old envelopes, raised with the feather and by inkings in washing.
